I know that when I first started out hand lettering, I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to start out, and what I needed to do in order to be better at hand lettering. I thought that other people might be struggling with the same thing, so I put together some exercises that would help you to be better prepared to do hand lettering!
Over the year and a half I have been actively lettering, I have found that these exercises help your hand to get used to the motions and movements of letters.Happy lettering!

Ummm…all I can say is that I cannot believe that I ever thought that this was “amazing!” As I that thought came into my head, I had an awesome idea; why not do the same exact piece again, and see how I have grown?
I am super happy with how the updated version looks. While I know that I am in no way, shape, or form as good as some of the other hand letter-ers out there, I plan to keep working and improving on this skill for as long as I can!
